What if we really can change the world with the flip of a switch?

Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) wanted to inspire businesses across San Francisco and San Jose to participate in its new energy-saving program, Step Up and Power Down. The first of its kind for any utility, this behavioral initiative rewards simple, everyday actions that reduce energy waste. When each city hits its energy savings goal, PG&E will donate $1 million to support local sustainability projects.

To inspire action and get business owners genuinely pumped, print wasn’t going to cut it. We pitched PG&E a vision video for social channels, and the client was so pleased with the final 1:00 cut they requested additional :30 and :15 cutdowns for an upcoming media buy.

This vision video went on to win AESP‘s 2016 Energy Award for Outstanding Achievement in Non-Residential Marketing & Communications, which recognizes creative thinking, new approaches and problem-solving in the energy efficiency industry.
